Image Guided Surgery

The Simulator-Rowena used for teaching Image Guided Techniques

Simulator-Rowena is completely MRI and CT compatible making her ideal for teaching and practising image guided techniques.

Scan Rowena complete with a fluid filled brain using the normal image guidance sequences. These can then be transferred onto a neuronavigation console in your simulation centre.

This can then be used to practise all the basic registration techniques and image manipulation, before using it for any of the procedures already outlined above.

A good place to start is a simple burr hole and ventricular catheter placement.
